Mark and Lisa

bout

We both agree there is nothing like living and working in the Ozark Mountains. It has given us the opportunity to make friends, enjoy the great outdoors and live life to it's fullest.

We make a point to enjoy doing art that appeals to us.

This means we use any material on hand, our imagination, and a never-ending supply of laughter. If you like it, you may have higher than average intelligence, a good sense of humor or both. We think if we like the art we are producing and would display it in our home, you will too. Explore our creations and let them sink in. Take your time.

We categorize ourselves as recovering commercial artists. Our work is fueled by rich memories, and inspired by regular healthy doses of our local culture. The colorful characters and talented musicians and writers, each a rare treasure, all weave a narrative of shadowboxes, beadwork, scratch-art, welded sculpture, photography, wood burned images, paintings, mixed-media and doodles of all sorts. Our work teeters on the edge of... well, we're not quite sure, it just teeters.

These days our focus is personal. We enjoy making art, working in the garden and hobnobbing with local birds, bunnies and chipmunks.

We're two old hippies making the best of a great situation.
