The coffee pot is readied the night before and by 3:00 a.m. it's dripping. Mark is up and painting until it's time to wake me with a warm smile, a cup of coffee and two whiny, attention seeking panthers. We spend every morning together in the studio with the cats, listening to the news or music and working on whatever has lately caught our fancy. The cats are often "helpful" as is evidenced by some of the photos. Our studio is a large room in the corner of the upstairs with a balcony off the back overlooking a beautiful yard, laden with flowering plants from March through October and vines that remain green all year. The flowers and plants are just another form of art for Mark, as they are strategically sewn to ensure that something is always in bloom. It is a colorful ongoing fireworks display each year.
